    Filter: The main function is to filter out the oil, water, impurities and other wastes contained in the compressed air and work together with the cold dryer.


    The impurities contained in the compressed air, if the compressed air filter is not used, will suck in solid dust particles and solid impurities such as rust falling off from the inner wall of the pipeline. If these impurities are stuck in the sliding gap of the directional control valve or the pressure control valve On the valve seat, it will cause malfunction. In addition, the air sucked into the air compressor is compressed and boosted, and then sent out through the aftercooler and the air storage tank. When the air temperature drops, supersaturated moisture is precipitated. Most of this water is separated by the aftercooler, but a small part still enters the control circuit and components, causing the parts to rust and wash away the lubricating oil film. At the same time, the compressed air also contains degraded and harmful oil mist, which is suspended in the air and easily adheres to the sliding parts and mixes with other impurities to form sludge, which often accumulates in the narrow air passage gap, causing the device to fail to operate normally.

    In conclusion, an air compressor filter must be used to remove impurities present in the compressed air and improve the reliability of the pneumatic control loop. Generally, in the power circuit composed of ordinary directional control valves and actuators, air compressor filters with both centrifugal separation and filtration functions are usually used. But when oil mist must be completely removed, an oil mist filter should be used. In order to prevent pollution, especially the environmental pollution caused by the lubricating oil mist in the exhaust gas of the cylinder with large bore and long stroke, it is necessary to use an exhaust oil mist filter. In special occasions such as pharmaceuticals and food, sterilizing filters and deodorizing filters can be used.
